🏡 Gikuni, Kiambu County — Est. by Lucie Ngaruiya

A homestead farm that doesn't cut corners

Kagira Ridge Farm sits on the red volcanic soil of Lower Kabete, Kiambu County, just 25km from nairobi, kenya. What began as a family homestead has become a community-supported agriculture operation feeding households across Nairobi — a portion of the farm reserved, every week, for the people who eat from it.

ShambaPass is how that relationship is organised: a membership rather than a shop, so the farm knows what to plant and you know what's coming.

What we hold ourselves to

  • No Chemicals, Pesticides, Ever

Earth-first methods and rigorous waste management.

  • Harvest-to-Door in 24 Hours

Harvested at peak ripeness and delivered to your home within 24 hours.

  • Grounded & Honest

Know exactly where and how your food is grown.

  • Homestead Experience

Interact with the owners and the land itself.

Every week, the same rhythm

Pure, honest, soil-grown food

Nothing about a CSA is mysterious. Here's exactly what happens between your order and your kitchen.

1

Hand-picked at peak ripeness, then carefully washed in fresh highland water.

2

Harvested & cleaned

Sorted, weighed and packed into your Kikapu by the farm team on Thursday and Friday.

3

Groceries on the way

Loaded and rolling toward your home, or waiting for you at the Gigiri stall.

4

Saturday morning. Asante sana — that's your week of eating, sorted.

Uplifting and supporting the local Lower Kabete area

“Put down roots. Live the farm.”

Every ShambaPass membership funds a season of planting, fair wages for the farm team, and the soil work that keeps this ridge productive without chemicals.
